About Crossings Church SBC

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Crossings Church and our vision. Crossings Church is a new Church Plant with a heart for seeing God use ordinary people to do extra-ordinary things for His Kingdom. In keeping with our Mission Statement, Crossings will seek to establish itself in or near Spanish Fork. This is so that we will be better positioned geographically, to plant stand alone churches in the surrounding towns. Right now this means that we will be meeting in Payson until we get more established.

Mission Statement

“Our mission is to plant a new church serving the Santaquin, Payson and Spanish Fork, region. We will do this by creating relationships with people in the local community that God leads to us. These may be mature Christians seeking to become involved in a new work for Christ. Or these may be new believers from our home Bible studies. As God grows His church, we will help disciple these Christians and equip them for more active roles in His service. Our long term mission is to become a mother church with the primary objective of equipping lay leadership to be pastors, evangelists and on-mission Christians in order to saturate the entire Spanish Fork region with the gospel of Jesus Christ and new indigenous church plants.”

Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has grown to over 16 million members who worship in more than 42,000 churches in the United States. Working through 1,200 local associations and 41 state conventions and fellowships, Southern Baptists share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.

You become a Southern Baptist by uniting with a Southern Baptist church, one in friendly cooperation with the general Southern Baptist enterprise of reaching the world for Christ. Typically church membership is a matter of accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord and experiencing believer's baptism by immersion.

As the founding Pastor of Crossings I want to meet you where you are, get to know you and hopefully help you discover and grow in a meaningful relationship with God, through Jesus. We all struggle and hurt as we face the daily pressures of life, not to mention the impossible expectations that others place on us. As one who has had their fair share of struggles, I would love to share with you how to experience the life and joy of Jesus Christ in your daily life. I would love nothing more than to have you visit our Wednesday evening Bible study or Sunday Worship Service and begin to seek, learn, and grow in your personal journey with God. Just listen to what God, The Creator of the universe, promises to us that want to know Him: Jeremiah 29:11-14a “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will be found by you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you says the LORD,….

Crossings exists to minister to the real needs of people with the authentic love of Jesus Christ! I invite you to experience the thrill and satisfaction of God’s Word (The Bible), meet other friendly people and enjoy the atmosphere that is a part of an emerging Church family. I hope you will consider visiting our Bible study and Worship Service.  And, if you do not have a church home, then maybe God is directing you to become one of the first of many new people that will make up Crossings Church. If you're already a member of another church, it’s okay! You can still be a part of the Bible study and take advantage of some of the resources and tools made available to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Crossings Church meets at the Clarion Manor in Payson for Sunday Worship and Wednesday Night Bible study. The Clarion Manor is located at 463 East 100 North, Payson, Utah.
